The Pythons are ready to enter the Pit.
Five Halton business professionals, who comprise the 2016 Python’s Pit panel of judges, are ready to take their places May 25 at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. On that night, which is free and open to the public, they will listen with experienced ears to pitches from 10 Halton and area entrepreneurial contestants.
This will mark the fourth Python’s Pit, an initiation of Halton’s Rotary clubs. In a format similar to Dragon’s Den, albeit less intimidating, the top five Open category finalists and the top five high school contestants, vie for cash prizes to support their business ventures or in the case of the latter, their post-secondary studies.
