Testimonials

I am sending this e-mail to thank you for starting Pythons Pit and the endless opportunities it has given both Jennifer and I.

Two weeks ago, we participated in the DECA Ontario Provincial competition. DECA Ontario is Canada’s largest youth business organization, and every February it hosts the Provincial competition where students compete in various categories. Jennifer and I teamed up and chose to participant in the Entrepreneurship Independent Business Plan event. In this event, we combined both of our Pythons Pit ideas from last year to form a new business. During our pitch to the judge, we highlighted our experience in participating in Pythons Pit and the fact that we were able to receive mentorship from business professionals.

We ended up placing third in the province, and have qualified to compete in the international DECA competition in Nashville, Tennessee. I truly believe that it is our experience with Pythons Pit that gave us an edge over the other competitors in our category.

This is a link to an article they wrote about Jennifer and I on our school website: http://www.werbr.ca/br-deca-business-club-triumphs-at-provincial-competition/

Thank you for all the time and energy you have invested in creating and growing this organization, and giving high school students like Jennifer and I such an invaluable experience.

Best,

Ann
